Tallinn Music Week 10!

City Festival for Tomorrow's Music, Arts and Ideas!

Held each spring in Tallinn, Estonia since 2009, Tallinn Music Week (TMW) is a weeklong celebration of talent, curiosity, creativity and equality. Having started out as a music industry conference and showcase festival, TMW has broadened its concept further into an all-encompassing city festival, covering arts, design, technology, city space, food culture and various societal issues.

Already in its 10th year, TMW is a major meeting point for Eastern, Western and Central European creative communities. The core of the weeklong TMW anniversary festival is the Creative Impact conference at Tallinn Creative Hub and music showcases across multiple venues in the city on three nights by 250 artists from all around the world.

Music, New Economy, Better Cities, Design Thinking

6-7 April 2018 10.00–17.00 at Tallinn Creative Hub

TMW conference focuses on the future of music, new economy, civic initiative, gender politics, better cities and design thinking. The event will present over 100 speakers from game-changing entrepreneurs to influential pop culture auteurs.

The previously mainly music-focused TMW conference has looked in depth into the added value of creativity, as a result of which the festival has framed four lead topics for the jubilee edition's conference, namely the future of music, new economy, better cities, and design thinking. Civic initiative, gender politics, future skills and sustainable development will also be the commonly occurring keywords.

Conference opening speech will be held by President of Estonia, Kersti Kaljulaid on Friday 6 April.
